Day 1
ARRIVAL IN HANOI

Welcome to Vietnam! Meet and greet by our team at Noi Bai Airport. After then, drive to the center of Hanoi (around 35 minutes) for lunch at a local restaurant before hotel check-in. In the afternoon, have a light tour to Hoan Kiem Lake – Ngoc Son Temple, visit the statue of Ly Cong Uan, who had moved the capital city from Ninh Binh – Hoa Lu to the present location of Hanoi a millennium ago, hang around the Old Quarter of Hanoi by “Green car” and enjoy a show of Water Puppetry, a stage art created by the Vietnamese peasants. The show last more than an hour, which is a wonderful opportunity to learn about some of Vietnam’s mythology, traditions, and current customs. Dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 2
HANOI – HOA LU & TAM COC – HANOI

After breakfast, our team will pick you up at your hotel and head to the ancient capital of Hoa Lu in Ninh Binh for a visit to temple buildings dedicated to Le and Dinh Kings. Driver to Tam Coc and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. After then, take a leisure row-boat ride down the river to visit Tam Coc noted for its limestone outcrops rising up from serene rice paddies which gave the name of the place as “Halong bay on land”. Then, you will be transferred to a quiet road through rural villages, rice fields, rivers and rocky outcrops from Tam Coc to Bich Dong pagoda. After finishing the sightseeing, drive back to Hanoi late afternoon and dinner at an Indian restaurant. Overnight at the hotel in Hanoi.

Day 3
HANOI CITY TOUR - SAIGON - BY FLIGHT

Breakfast at hotel, start your day by visiting: Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (except every Monday & Friday), which tells the life story of the great leader, as well as serves as his final resting place. House on Stilt where Ho Chi Minh stayed, One Pillar Pagoda, one of the oldest architectures dated back from the 11th century. It rises on one pillar from the middle of a square lotus pond. Legend has it that Ly Thai Tong had a dream vision Quan Am sitting on a lotus flower and promising him a male child. Thus, he had this pagoda built, itself sitting on a pond like a giant flower on its tall stem; Continue the city tour with the Temple of Literature- the first university in Vietnam. Lunch at the local restaurant. Afternoon, we will transfer to Noi Bai International airport for a domestic flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Upon your arrival in Tan Son Nhat Airport, our team from Ho Chi Minh will pick up and transfer to the city center for dinner and then finally to your hotel for check-in. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh.

Day 4
CU CHI TUNNEL - SAIGON CITY TOUR

Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel. After then, we will drive to Cu Chi and visit the amazing complex of underground tunnels. There are more than 200km of underground tunnels, comprising a main axis system with many branches connecting to underground hideouts, shelters, and other tunnels. Back to Ho Chi Minh City for Lunch. Afternoon, we will visit Reunification Hall which was the residence of the President Ngo Dinh Diem of former South Vietnam until 1975 (the 1960s – Apr 1975s.) Our English-speaking guide will explain you all the important historical facts about this building and some French colonial structures including the Notre Dame Cathedral (Located in the heart of the city, this cathedral was built by the French in the late 1877s). Then, to visit City Post Office and Ben Thanh Market. After the full day sightseeing, we will have an Indian dinner at Ho Chi Minh city today. After dinner transfer to hotel and overnight in Ho Chi Minh.

Day 5
HO CHI MINH CITY – MEKONG DELTA RIVER

Have your breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy the scenic journey along the way bordered by green rice fields. Upen arrival at My Tho, visit Vinh Trang pagoda and Dong Tam snake, take a leisurely boat ride along the river, view the stilt houses, fruit plantations and fishing villages along the river bank. Proceed to Tortoise islet, have lunch in the orchard garden. Then a boat ride to An Khanh – a less touristy attraction in Ben Tre, enjoy cruising on a hand-rowed sampan under the shadow of the water coconut trees along natural canals, then enjoy seasonal fruit & honey tea to the sound of “Southern Vietnamese folk music”, performed by locals. Visit a family business that epitomizes the idyllic rural lifestyle, taste the delicious coconut candy & observe the pastoral life as you roam through the fruit plantation and village. After then, we will proceed to the bus and return to Ho Chi Minh City. This trip provides a fascinating insight into daily life in the Mekong Delta and we are sure you will enjoy and take a lot of beautiful memories back to your home country. Enjoy the dinner and drive back to the hotel to overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 6
HO CHI MINH CITY - DEPARTURE
